The article discusses a number of recent decisions of European international tribunals regarding the mass-media which, according to the authors, are of great interest both from the perspective of their theoretical influence on the Russian national legal system and from the perspective of establishing similar judicial practices within the framework of Eurasian integration. The paper particularly stresses the judicial approach to the problem of balancing different fundamental rights and freedoms in the context of modern media.
