Abstract
A new book by К. Dzehtsiarou published by Cambridge University Press describes in detail European consensus as a tool of interpretation of the European Convention on Human Rights. The author considers the substance of the method and its application, putting special emphasis on the role of consensus in legitimizing new readings of the “old” rights. The monograph is recommended for all students and practitioners of international and comparative law.
