Abstract

A new book by Vera Rusinova deals with the dual application of international humanitarian law and international human rights law in armed conflicts. The author advocates for an integrated approach to the application of international legal norms, aimed at better protection of the victims of armed conflicts. The research focuses particularly on the legal collisions in the regulation of the right to life, the right to freedom and their overcoming. The monograph is recommended for all students and practitioners of international law.
